I’m writing this letter to you as a Vietnamese-American in Florida to respectfully ask you to sponsor a Bill proclaiming November 7th as “Victims of Communism Day” and require that education in our schools teaches Florida students about the danger of Communism. This Bill was introduced to the Florida House of Representatives in November 2021 by State Representative Tom Fabricio, Representative David Borrero, and Representative Alex Rizo. 

Your support of this legislation will devote to commemorating more than 100 million victims of communism around the world and to pursue the freedom of those still living under totalitarian regimes in Cuba, China, North Korea, Vietnam, Venezuela, …
